Joyce Plasterworks specializes in both blueboard and drywall installation. Blueboard's more absorbent paper layer bonds with a veneer plaster coating before painting, whereas drywall panels are covered with paper that will take paint directly.

Deciding which finish plaster to use on your new walls or ceiling? We offer a variety of choices including smooth veneer, sand finish, and textured finish.

 We specialize in both skim-coat, which involves the application of a single, eighth-inch-thick layer of plaster over the entire wall or ceiling surface and multicoat plastering using a basecoat plaster or structolite plaster.

Whether you're building a new home, repairing a current issue, or replacing a ceiling during renovation, our team is ready and skilled to assist.

In need of horsehair plaster repair? Holes and imperfections can be filled and larger issues repaired by cutting out the degraded plaster and fitting a piece of blue board in the hole, then using plaster or joint compound to blend and repair.
